The Kamloops Art Vortex is inviting the public to a charity art event in support of the Little Big Science Centre.
On Saturday, June 21, the Artist Vortex will host an art auction and sale at Old Federal studios located at 207 West Victoria Street in Kamloops. The soiree will feature original works from seven local Kamloops artists: Donna Bowie, Isabelle Faulkner, Roxi Hermsen, Debbie Lund, Audrey Meuse, Tilly Perry and Clement Yeh.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up and enjoy a glass of wine or mocktail from the Monte Creek winery and Mocktail Mixery while savouring delicious appetizers and bidding on beautiful works of art, all in the name of supporting the Little Big Science Centre.
Tickets for the event (which include a complimentary glass of wine) are $20 each and may be purchased at the Little Big Science Centre (located at 458 Seymour Street), the Mocktail Mixery (located at 204-1150 Hillside Drive) or through the artists themselves.
