Calling all entrepreneurs: Enactus TRU is back

Become part of the change

Next Monday, Enactus returns to TRU, where they will host a community engagement and education event designed to help students solve social and environmental problems through entrepreneurial action.

Enactus is an organization whose mission is to guide and support young adults to “solve the world’s biggest problems” through innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants work with a network of leaders committed to using business as a catalyst for positive social and environmental impact.

“Pre-pandemic, Enactus TRU was a vibrant and active student organization, and the time to reinvigorate is now,” Enactus TRU said in a press release. “Enactus TRU goes beyond business, welcoming students from every faculty with a passion to drive change.”

According to the release, Enactus attracts over 1,600 Enactus students across 66 Canadian institutions to participate in the club each year.

On Monday, Nov. 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the TRUSU lecture hall in the CAC, students of every faculty are invited to learn what it means to be part of Enactus TRU.

Admission to the talk will be free, but prior registration is needed. Email Paul Clark at pclark@tru.ca to secure your spot.
